I’m disappointed in all aspects of how they are managing Janice’s music.. there’s no point of releasing single collections because Janice is more talented than this! There is no linkage in these songs and just all over the place.
It’s clearly a contract issue and not the artists fault because it’s evident that company is heading towards a wrong path. It’s quite a tragedy how Warner HK ended up nowdays. Their sole focus is to invest in newer singers to fight 903 awards, but their music production quality is going downhill.

Warner hk golden days are over .. their budget is no where near Warner Taiwan. Two separate universe.

畢竟個公司重點都係MC 最多讓埋呢年比你
下年MC應該會有好力捧既發展

就算Janice錄歌進度慢都應該唔會搞到冇歌出，但係依家華納係好似棄佢，Janice啱啱先叫做有番D人氣，而公司的strategy完全唔make sense，Fiona又係咁...華納除左A&R衰連高層都衰埋，不過如果Janice真係完約，我諗佢會加入Sony，佢已經同Edward Chan嘅班底friend。

華納幾年前開始已經好離譜。許廷鏗同dear jane隻隻碟印咁少，個市場炒到飛起，我唔明點解華納有錢賺都唔肯加印或者首批就印多d，印碟係咪好貴，貴到賣一張蝕一張的程度？但華納d碟定價已經高過某d公司好多。仲唔止，dear jane張timeline直情冇出過，唔知印左幾張派俾人。其實好似獨立歌手都可以出到實體的情況下，點解華納係都唔肯印d碟出來。。陳蕾都係冇碟出，不如佢獨立時期。。

I actually think people here might be freaking out too early (including myself)

Janice explicitly mentioned during 低級趣味 interview that there will be a singles collection CD first part of the year and then she will begin producing her special album project, which is likely that jazz album so this plan is rolling out as mentioned based on what were seeing with this release.

It makes sense to invest less money on this singles collection if there's another project down the pipeline so treat this as a singles release for her new single, but they are compiling all past singles in one package to close out this ongoing singles project since 2018. So treat this as a small revenue boost for the company and this will obviously sell well regardless because Janice fans will buy the album. I'm already purchasing this today in America.

Now if there is no radio interview these coming weeks or if Janice have no new music after Stars Academy ends this summer then she might of left the company.

Regardless of what happens, Janice will be able to retain her stable career by even singing her old songs forever just like priscilla chan. Of course, she is still active with the current music scene, but she does not have that pressure to retain popularity or worry about having a living because there will be record companies waiting for her if she does choose to leave. To be honest, the worst case she can always sign with small labels and do HI-fi albums or re-cover her old songs and would still sell well and maintain popularity. Of course, Janice is still more ambitious than that.

If she wants to take a break or quit, she has the option to do that as well!

Janice is low profile, but not stupid as she always have a plan for herself just like 2015 when she signed with warner as this company was the best option for her at that moment, but things change as we progress with your current company. Nowdays, people do not stay in the same company for more than 2-5 years (based on my experience).

  It's not "Single Collections CD" make me assume it's Janice's last album in Warner. It mostly because of lack of promotions of this album, and the cover is a typical "artist's last album in a label" trash cover, reminds me of 彭羚's 絕色音展.
