提名原因：From his concerts and interviews, you can really tell that Jason (Ivan) Chan is not someone who loves singing the "same old love songs". This lacks of interest for his biggest hits sometimes lead to terrible ideas (still haunted by that cheerful remix of 斷絕來往 in his first big concert), but the playful rejection here is probably one of the best. Back by a very groovy melody, Jason quickly rebuke his previous sad songs persona with a nice twist of the previous K歌之王 style lyrics. Co-writing both the melody and the lyrics, Jason shows his fullest potential as a fun and playful artist that can find a style that he truly enjoy.

提名原因：Definitely one of the most successful new artists of the 2010s, if not THE most successful, and this album definitely shows why. From the catchy introduction of "哈囉", to the shocking playful twist of "能說不的秘密", to the "big hits" climax of "問好", before finally wrapping up with inspiration in "One Day at a Time", her 2013 journey was not just a strong and eye-catching introduction, but a well planned and well executed essay. The fact that she hasn't let up after that makes it all the better.

提名原因：Before he became an artist that everyone loves to hate and before he churns out songs for the sake for finding the next heartwarming hit, Phil Lam created a genuine song of gratitude in 頌讚詩. 2014 is probably the year that Phil really created from his heart: the despair of 高山低谷 followed by the appreciation of this song. Bonus marks for a quality remix -- the acapella version of this song was just as good.

提名原因：A hardworking year capped by one of the last true big album. Certainly a right song at the right time feel with 自由意志, an anthem of sort for the umbrella movement. But still many other worthwhile songs, particularly 莫失莫忘 and 還記得. An album made with confidence and heart.

提名原因：In terms of things that didn't age well, there's also this. But unlike Pakho, C AllStar and their team really hasn't done anything to devalue the lyrics; it's just that a song cannot no longer solve these problems. Listening to the song in 2015 was a peaceful and warm experience, one of hope and comfort. Listening to the song in 2019 definitely has more sorrow, but I think that speaks to the power of its melody and lyrics. 這刻身心早應該放空; 城市本來浪漫; 時代應該多點悠閒空間. These are things we know to be true, but unfortunately has slowly slipped away from us.

提名原因：Still her most recent album, it is also Kary's most successful. Backed by her idol Sandy Lam, Kary fully embraced her image of a confident lady of the city. A unique voice in the industry, creating many upbeat and memorable songs. 一分鐘稀客一分鐘色誘 seems to jumped right from the late 80s/early 90s, and you know an album succeed when it creates the exact image that it wants.
